I sincerely believe(d) that Trump would fade into oblivion after a little bit of time out of office
I just saw my first Trump 2024 sticker on a truck

Its a head scratcher. The election was handed to him, even

with the fbi/dem collusion against him, and he tweeted himself out of it. The next one is being handed to any sane pub who wants it, but they'll figure out a way to blow that too.

I think the main problem is the election integrity lie.

If his supporters actually realized the truth that he lost an extremely important election, and that it was his fault, I think his popularity would have fallen, or at least his electability. But since they believe it was stolen from him, then he maintains the popularity.
A cynical view would be that the election integrity lie was an intentional strategy to maintain that popularity.

Remind me again why the Dems are or should be blaming

themselves? Because they're scared of Trump? He can't win. He's the best thing to happen to the Dem party in a long, long time. Trump not relinquishing control of the party doesn't bode well for the GOP, or, if you think it does, please explain.

The funniest part of that is Biden tamping down
Apr 20, 2021, 10:27 AM

some of his proposals compared to what he said during the campaign to get republicans on board, republicans refuse to work with him (as usual), he moves forward anyways, and T3 comes in here wondering what happened to unity

I’m trying to figure out how he is still the front runner

And why people are deferring to him. Is this typical behavior amongst the parties?

There are still plenty of Americans who put him before country. He's a cult of personality, and they still want their dictator. Some of them are still pining for him now.
I never seen such blind adoration for any president in my lifetime. Anyone who wants him back and adores him this much needs some professional help.

I honestly do not think he wanted the job, and undermined his own chances in a way where he could play the victim. And it is one of those things where the harder he tries to blow it, the more people end up liking him. It is the only explanation I got for how he blew through the primary in 2015.

Is this like someone trying to throw a basketball game by lobbing up any 3 pt shot they can and somehow they all are actually going in?
