I think everyone agrees that Cade has been impressive and has grown. But looking at the numbers such as these and drawing a conclusion that he's the best QB in d1 is silly. It's disappointing the schedule is turning out to be so lame.

Exactly, we all wanted Cade to take a step this year. Instead of hanging on to a rough start the kid has been playing on fire and it’s still not good enough. Convinced some fans want the team to fail so they can say “told you so” and it’s driving them crazy that we’ve been playing well.

Absolutely helps along with a competent OL as well. I personally think this is one of the deepest WR rooms we’ve ever had. It’s going to be scary when they get TJ Moore going

I don't care what the self loathing naysayers want to say, Cade had played darn well. Completing the numbers he had against AIR is good and if you doubt his improvement being for real, look at his struggles last year against, well, EVERYONE. Give that young man his due. No one had anointed him as Tom Brady or even Arch Manning just yet.. but I for one am happy we have him. Go Tigers!

Best number there is average depth of target. That is a big increase from last year. Defenses aren’t going to be able to load the box anymore with Wesco and Moore in man situations

Plenty of other qbs haven’t played any good defenses yet either and they haven’t achieved this.
For heavens sake just be happy. We wanted him to start playing like this. We wanted receivers to start doing what they’re now doing. Now they’re doing it. This is the part where you enjoy life.
