Cade making our D rethink next year?

This could be an interesting situation, much like Christian Wilkins did with Trevor. Feels alot like the timing of the KB-TL situation with the exception of Cade no being allowed to take over his Fr year. You know the majority of the guys that are able to leave and go pro have to be thinking "What If" with Cade leading the helm now. Feeling that sense of redemption is there for the taking next season, even if just Bresee and XT are back it would be a tremendous help for the D-line, but to think if more guys come back and go All-In next year....can only think of 2018 all over. Either way, looking forward to see what next year brings. I expect Randall to have a breakout season on offense as well.

When you can make nil money why not? Some people are getting million dollar NIL deals. Unless you are going to be first round. A little bit of nil money could tide you over until next year.

The defense was still the strong suit of the team, the point is...they know they could possibly have an offense now to match what they do on defense. It would obviously be better if the guys came back as oppose they didn't. It's not a comparison of which D was better, clearly that 18 D was the nastiest we've seen, it's a comparison of the situation. You finally get an offense with momentum, so you'd like to get as much of the Defense back as possible.

Basically saying, let's see what could've happened this past season if Cade gets his shot with the majority of the same team. Run it back.

It seems like the logical thing to do would be to wait until after the Orange Bowl - see if Cade really has IT - then make your decision about leaving.
I will hate having to wait that long to find out, but if they come back I will deal with the waiting.
THIS makes the Orange Bowl more important than it was before.

I agree. Big game as it pertains to next year in many ways. Sure would be nice to have Bresee, XT, and any other of those DL or LB back for next year. Also excited to see how this year's three WR's play next year with Cade winging it.

They probably aren't questioning Cade's ability.

They saw him practice all year, growing and becoming accustomed to the speed of the game. Then they stood on the sideline and saw him go nuclear on UNC.
