In fact, he F'd it up so bad, that he wasn't even deserving enough to get one snap against the Coots; but after a good night sleep, Dabo called him the next day and said, "now, you're ready kid."

The beauty of the ND fiasco was the play he was given to run. Roll to your left, throw it across your body, and avoid getting sacked in the end zone. Pure genius. You coaches know you always roll the right hander to his left. Clearly, he just wasn't ready as Dabo stated in the post game interview in Charlotte.

Dabo was roasted by even Clemson friendly media for that stunt. As he should have been!
Let’s be honest, Dabo put in all his chips on DJ because the media and fans wanted to see Cade because it was obvious DJ sucked, but when Dabo decides to Dabo, nothing is going to change his mind.
But he had no choice Saturday!
Amazing how good Cade was with only a little bit of practice with the starters.

It was a total disaster of a play call. They called a naked boot leg on our own 5 yard line leaving Cade on an island with a DE. He had Ngata open but the DE hit his arm and he wasn't able to follow through on the throw. He almost turned a bone head play call into a first down.
