I don’t understand Cade not doing what coaches say. Does he know more than they do?

Maybe he does know more than those on Offense....could be. DW4 and TLAW were allowed to audible....CK2 is nowhere near those two, but imagine the feeling of the same $#!tty runs up into the @$$ of the OL getting blown off the ball......AND, it's the LAST play of the game. I can certainly see a player/leader that's won TWO STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS in Texas "trying to make a play" in spite of the shifty play calling!
Go Tigers!!!

thrown into situations he rarely saw in Texas, beginning with crappy O-line play.
I saw O-linemen making half-assssed hits against defenders, then standing around watching Cade getting pounded. Very few times did our line give him time to make a play. True, there were some bad decisions on his part, but he led Westlake to those titles at the highest division levels because of a heck of a lot better playing by his support.
We saw him dropping dime after dime right to receivers, then them making half-assssed attempts to fight for the frigging ball. Blah blah blah, the list goes on.
The underlying basic problem with the whole team and staff to me is an easy read, based upon my military experience in higher level command and staff assignments: a lack of discipline, much of it not addressed due to the relative youth and inexperience on our staff. That's directly on our HC, based upon his hiring and supervision. Now, we've got three bad losses, all surely contributing to morale issues. My problem is I'm not sure those issues are recognized nor will or can be addressed at this point.
Lastly, does that mean I won't support our program or think Dabo needs to go? Horsemanure!

If all that you say is true (seems like an accurate assessment) and Dabo is unable or unwilling to address then him staying is the end of our program. With conference realignment, nil and portal changing the game, this is no time to find yourself down

Not sure its him, but could be. They kept trying to get him in last year and he’d turn it over/pick6 it etc. If its not him, what is it?
-poor position coaches? Certainly some evidence for that in that our receivers havent been able to nuance the route to get open nor could they jump and fight for the ball or knock it away.
-poor OL coaching? Certainly some evidence for that as well.
-poor RB position coaching? Certainly some evidence for that. Fumbles and terrible pass blocking, our RB1 regressing this year, looking like a freshman.
This team looks like it is coached by a leader who has everything under the sun on his mind except winning. We once had a coach on staff that lived 24/7 focused on one thing and that was dominating the field on defense. We were once fierce, we had such a defensive presence that it took over our offensive mentality and made us better. Coach V was the heart and soul of this Clemson team and without his iron will to win, we lack discipline and follow through. No amount of good will and positive input from Dabo is gonna make up for that drive and intensity.

Cole Stoudt tried hard and was a good game manager. He never was supposed to start. We got in that mess because of Kelly and then Watson got hurt before he learned to calm down. Cade has been put into a broken system with bad position coaches putting a defective unit on the field. With a good(as in average, not great) OL, and good receivers(again, average skillset), and average RB’s(not blazing speed, but durable and a skillset that includes pass blocking), Cade would be able to have time to see familiarity in how his receivers ran routes and gained separation and make good progress and improve. As it is now, the 11 guys on offense never come together or look the same even once. Its an undisciplined mess(IMO Brent Venables brought discipline to not just the players but to the coaches as well and influenced the whole team from the defensive side of the ball.)
