By the Numbers: O-Line Success in the Transfer Portal

For the 2021 recruiting cycle, 19 O-Line players transferred to Power Five schools. Of those 19, 13 are now starting across their respective O-Lines, the other six are listed in the two deep. Schools with transfer starters include Texas A&M, Michigan State, Kentucky, Penn State, Notre Dame, Oklahoma State, NC State, and Pittsburg. In comparison 21 QB's transferred to Power Five schools and only 5 are currently starting.
I'll let every take away what they will from that, but those are the stats

About 128 other programs would love to have our problems. If Dabo sees a gem out there that can fill a need, he will go after him. My guess is all the injuries, protocol cases, and transfers have got CDS thinking a bit differently now. We shall see. Also, he might add a few more recruits every year.

I don’t think they are quitters but I do think they left their team for a reason. So
They were not good enough to start where they were.
They could not get along with Someone where they were.
They wanted to be closer to home.
I guess you might find a couple who want to play for better teams.
At any rate , I say stick with what you have.
( but like Dabo says if things change then maybe you can utilize the portal

So glad we have Danny Pearman on the job when he gets a break from golf, evaluating that transfer portal talent that Dabo will never sign.
