logo, while the words "South Carolina" are prominent on the tag. I was gonna put one on my new car I got Friday but I think I will pass. Also, don't wanna risk some coot vandalizing my new ride.

2016 national champion. They have one for every taste in the stores and online. That one the state has put out is a complete joke.
That happens sometimes. Often there are good intentions, but it just comes out fail. For example, Atlanta's Izzy mascot for the Olympics.

The nice colorful ones have all been phased out in favor of this boring, white background with blue-and-red stripes design. They're all hideous. Thank your law enforcement lobbyists for the change; they asked for it so their software can better read license plates automatically. (Seriously.)

I plan to buy one. Maybe it is payback for the standard state plate looking like a Clemson plate for the last several years.
With all of you declining it, I will have a low number, too. My current Clemson is T-1310. Maybe I can get into triple digits...maybe double digits!

I was really looking forward to this, but because the logo is so detailed and the paw so small, no one is going to know what the hell I'm repping on my vehicle. I have a national championship sticker on the back of my glass and I'll keep this instead. Hate that the scholarship fund won't receive as much donation from this poor design. I was so excited when it was announced we were getting special plates. This is a depressing design and pure lazy. The Coot that made this failed Graphic Design miserably. I'll keep my front tag and decals, you know, where it's noticable that it's Clemson.

I like AI better ("All In"). I'm not getting one because I like my Clemson vanity plate and don't want to lose the number, but I'm curious to see which letters they actually end up using.
For everyone b!tching about the design, SC law was changed a year or two ago so that all vanity plates must use this basic design. It's awful, but intentionally bland so that law enforcement technology is able to read the plate numbers more quickly.

It is "AI" Mine came in the mail yesterday and has "Clemson University" as the first line and the "AI" vertically before the number. I do wish the emblem could have been bigger and would have preferred for "Clemson University" to be bigger and "South Carolina" to be smaller, but since I did not have a Clemson vanity tag, before, I am happy to have this one. Getting a little grief over it from my Alabama friends, but who cares.
