I’m curious what our chances of signing an elite QB is for this class. We have Klubnik and backing him up is Vizzina. Seems like this would be a year where we got a lower 4* or project 3*. But hey if we can stack them up then that’s better for us.

I guess, if they can't come in and beat out a seasoned QB that we have had a few years ahead of them, there is the transfer portal. And people somehow convinces these kids coming in, that they will beat out the guy ahead of them, and that seldom happens, not with Dabo as HC unless, you are a DW4, or a Trevor Lawrence type talent, it won't happen!!!

Everyone thought DJ was gonna be another superstar at Clemson. Good thing Cade Klubnik thought he could come here and compete. Because he committed before DJ had that terrible season last year.

We have offered Lagway and Jayden Davis from the 2024 class. Both are considered top five quarterbacks, but Davis is considered the better of the two and is ranked higher among all players. He plays in Charlotte. Some people think we have a better chance of getting him because of geography, but of course we’ve been getting players out of Texas and California so I don’t see that being an issue for Lagway. Not sure at the moment if the staff has a preference because normally we offer one guy in each class, but for the 2024 class we have offered both. So evidently they like what they see in both of them and whichever one commits they’ll be happy.
