Plain and simple. DJ is a good football player. He’s always been. But when good football players have bad mental games they play like shiz. I’ll never root for a kid to fail so I hope he plays well as a beaver and gets his NFL shot. Though it’s a shame how it all played out at Clemson; and the Coot loss I lay at Dabos feet.

Closer to home. Probably a lot less pressure there and the pro style is way better for him than RPO style offense he ran here. He was clueless and not quick enough mentally to run it. I think he was always confused as to what to do.

every week in the Mountain West. Then he can pretend to be a QB and give his hot GF a chance to get on TV a couple of times a year. Unfortunately for him, he's finna get exposed, and those nice people out west will get a load of what we've been dealing with the past two seasons.

games but it didn’t turn out great for the long run with him at Clemson. Dabo seemed to love him, and I’d bet he’s rooting for him. Seems like the proper way to handle it.

Yeah, DJ did not live up to expectations at Clemson, and it was downright frustrating watching him a lot of the time. But that's no reason to hate on the guy. He's a good young man with a ton of ability, and there's no reason Clemson fans should not wish him the best.

after his transfer was how he was the epicenter of attention at Clemson, always in the spotlight, but at OSU he could live in anonymity, away from the constant attention.

Neither team was very good. I just think for a variety of reasons, DJ is in a better situation for him at Oregon State in 2023 than he was at Clemson the last two.

Playing San Jose State, and having all freakin day to throw is the difference. His foot work is still the same. Flat footed. Stands in the same place, no movement.
I would not put him up for the Heisman until you see him play against some quality teams. The old Dj will come out don’t worry.
