Before you go off on young padawah about wrong turns, it might be useful to note a lot of what you are about to say came here from an AUBURN grad and ex-player (Walter Riggs), not from a local Clemson person.

You must not know much about Auburn. Auburn is a mere 25 min drive to the most beautiful lake in AL, Lake Martin. Sure it's not ON campus, but it's where this guy will retire and be a stone throw away from my alma mater.

I don't care where you and your husband park your trailer once social security kicks in. Facts are facts, and y'all have to drive to get to a lake. Ours is accessible to every student on foot. And our lake is a 5* lake and ESPN had it #3 overall in the class of 2015.

The one AU game I went to didn't leave a great impression. I didn't see the whole campus but what little I did see was under construction...red piles of dirt, silt fences, piles of trash. I'm sure it looks different now and it may be very nice. Clemson always seems to be under construction too though.
I challenge you to show me a more beautiful pic of AU!
There is no comparison!

So it takes 25 minutes to drive to this so-called lake, but you claim you can throw a stone from the lake to the campus? If you could actually throw a stone that far Gus would already have you enrolled in JUCO and preparing you to transfer to Auburn.
Maybe you meant to say "most Auburn grads don't even have the intelligence level of a rock"

Lake Martin = 44,000 acre lake, 25 mile drive
Lake Hartwell = 56,000 acre lake, 2500 ft walk from the stadium.
Decent difference there.

They are so excited that they may have a decent team this season.
But week 2 they will find out the difference between decent and elite.
You see as long as Gus and Kevin run the show , AU will be little brother to Bama.
They might win 9 games because other than CLEMSON and Bama they don't play any real teams.
LSU is about in the same boat as AU so that should be their super bowl.
Atleast they have a shot at beating those Tigers .
