Do you have any comments on what we did wrong tonight? Can you tell me why we are losing so bad on impotent on offense? Or are you just going to say "we were not the better team tonight"? WHY were we not the better team is the question? And that's what we should be talking about on this board.
We were totally flat on offense. Many people including myself have said we didn't have the QB to compete against a team like Alabama. We didn't have Watson to bale us out this year.

At the end of the day bama was better prepared and wanted this game more. KB has had a great season for us. Better than most thought he would ever do, but he needs the run to set up the pass and tonight the run game has been non-existent. Now we have to pass and Bama knows it and it is just not Kb’s Strength to drop back every play. I hate to end the season this way because I do not think this was our best effort, but that is the way it is sometimes. You have to tip your hat to them and realize they were better tonight.

The point is our offense sucked tonight. The number one reason was Kelly Bryant the moment was to big for him. Dion didn’t help him any. Dion is a bust by any measure.

Very disappointed with the offensive game plan.

and not even close to scoring a TD, is far from simply not being the better team. It is getting dominated, which isn’t okay when you are the #1 seed playing a team that couldn’t even win their division.
We weren’t ready, especially on offense. Bottom line.

We were out coached and out played. Bama coaches and players showed ZERO respect for Clemson's QB play and competence.
And calling out Tiger fans as fair weather punks seems an odd way to show class after a long season.

Our offensive coaches didn't have a good plan tonight and called a poor game as they did most of the year. Talent bailed them out many times. KB is a great guy and runs well but doesn't have a quick release, can't pick up the secondary receivers and panicked.

Just because people are disappointed the way Clemson played tonight doesn't make them a fairweather punk. The defense played good and Alex Spence was the Star of the game. That speaks for itself. The O-Line was absolute garbage and while I can't put the blame on Kelly, there were some throws that he made that make you say what was he seeing or thinking? We weren't even a one dimensional team tonight. Yes Alabama was the better team tonight, but that offensive performance was exactly that offensive.
There comes a point to which we have nothing to lose when it was clear we were going to lose. So why not try a backup QB? At this point who truly cares how much we lose by? Will we better and learn from this loss? Absolutely! But tonight showed we all need to stop comparing Kelly Bryant to Deshaun! Kelly Bryant will never be Deshaun and he will never be on his level.

There is a lot of negative stuff being posted, and that's not cool. I'm proud of the team for having a great season in a year when we were not supposed to make the playoffs. That said, not really being competitive in this game was embarrassing in my opinion. Clemson has not been beaten like this in a few years. If the program is on the level of Alabama (which I believe they are) than the game should have been more competitive.
There's not really much else to say...the SEC pumpers will be going nuts for the next year. I won't know who wins the NC until I hear someone talking about it at work or on here because I ain't turning on ESecPN for a while.
