Something is going wrong this year.

Perhaps the freshman being out who started the year red hot, or Cagle having to do too much (and getting sick), or some of the transfers just aren't working out.

But, bottom line, they can't hit, especially with runners in scoring position.

Tigers are a good team, top 25, just not an elite team top to bottom. The pitching, 1-3, is solid and plenty good enough, defense is above average, weak spot is hitting, esp with RISP. They are still good enough to win the ACC, esp with Duke coming to Clemson and FSU not the same but, after that, wouldnt look for much more. Still a success but Rittman better find some help next year.
