The seasons run.
And if he can continue to maintain and elevate Clemson basketball from where it is right now, which should be considered the bottom of acceptability then he would get to stay. But if he slips back into his 14 year history of two or three down years, and then one reasonable year then no he shouldn’t be here as long as he wants to.

amazing how a three game run made him the best coach ever. He has had 14 years to prove himself. He lost by 21 in the ACC tourney. This year was a fluke

He has one top ten finish in his career. That’s not even Clemson ring of honor status.

Not a Brownell fan, but his team performed in the NCAA tourney. Brownell and the team deserve credit for playing big in big games.
And props to the Clemson hoops fans with the perseverance to overcome 14 inconsistent years (not including me) and still pull hard for this outstanding 2024 team.
