Who will rise to the challenge and become the next great WR

at Clemson.
The running back room is set. I am counting on Cade to live up to his billing. The O-line WILL improve. But who will step up and become a great wide receiver ??
Could a TE become the difference maker ??

I like the looks of the Collins boys. They really flashed later in the season. We still need a bonified slot though. Also really liked our TEs this year. Thought Allen had a great year and Briningstool flashed and looked solid.

I want to see Brinningstool on the field more. I agree that he definitely flashed some potential and I think he could be a threat on the outside.

Davis Allen is really a complete TE. Dude could be a beast in the right setup. Reminds me of a more athletic Michael Palmer or Garret Williams. Decari Collins was looking really good at the end of the year. I still think Joe Ngata is the most talented WR we have. Just can’t stay healthy. To be honest I don’t really know what to think of EJ Williams. Talented but seems to flash and then disappear.

I think EJ may be in for a big year

If he stays healthy this will be the year he goes all in to try and wow before being draft eligible. I do think right now the collins boys seem to be the nearest to Some of the talent of the past. I do not think we have any 1st round talent though. To me it seems like we have a bunch of solid 4th rounders but we don’t have that Tee or Sammy.

No one will emerge as a super threat if we don’t have solid play from everyone else and solid depth. Need a threat at slot, need solid TE, need 2 deep at both outside positions that give defense enough to worry about that they can’t focus on one talent. The 2 Collins, Healthy Nagata and Williams would be good start along with the returning TEs. With two more solid contributors my money is on Nagata to emerge as the big threat. Recently watched reruns of GA game when he was Healthy and he was awesome. Just need everyone to stay healthy, a good rotation helps with that to.

I think we might have a good slot guy in either Will Taylor, Stellato, Spector, or the freshman from Dutch Fork. Joe Ngata needs to have a big year, and I like Allen and Briningstool. Hoping for a big year from Williams, too. GO TIGERS!!!

The Collins Boys have a chance to be "Clemson" special. I also believe Will Taylor will take to the slot like a duck to water. He may be somebody to keep your eye on. Maybe not eye popping numbers, but he could def be that different body type receiver we've been missing.

seems like we had at least one stud the past 15+ years until last year.
EJ Williams? Up until now, I don't see anyone who is the next Mike Williams, Hunter, Tee, etc etc etc.

With a good qb all things are possible...like the idea of Allen but nobody at ccc seems to know how to develop or use tight ends Allen could be another kelsey...but would have to be at Georgia or alabama...at ccc they are forgotten boys...Taylor in slot or Collins possible..have watched cade for 3 years...he will find the open cat and get him a catch.

I'm going to go with Adam Randall. I have seen good not great from the ones currently on the team. I see Cornell Powell types of careers as much as I hate saying it. Maybe it was the one on the other end of the pass that gives me that vibe, but I don't think that we see a dominant receiver until 2023 (or possibly post season 22/23 like Ross did his freshman year). I do think that Randall and Antonio Williams will bring back the swagger in our wide receiving corp though.
