Is he for real with those embarrassing statements. They are good kids and they smoke weed, and that don't even deserve a half game suspension. The penalty is only one year in jail, and a $6K fine that they won't get, and no loss of playing time. We don't punish kids for breaking the law bc it's a stupid law is how the coach views it. He maybe buying them an ounce a week with his opinion on smoking weed. OK guys, lightem up, coach don't give a sh!t!!!

Up to 1 year in prison and a $6,000 fine is definitely a crime by any standard. Also, it doesn't make any difference whether or not it is a crime, it is against the rules!

They need all the help they can get to try to not be too embarrassed.  It would be interesting if we did statistics for those 4 players just to see what contribution(s) they make, if any. Would give us fans plenty of fodder to rub it in when we win. Might even get to make a point that doing drugs hurts their cause in ways that are not smart enough to know about.

I pitched in college and was all region. I was involved in a fight that some local jackazz's started. The cops were called because there were about 8 people involved and it was on our campus. My coach the very next morning called and said get your ### to my office now. He said my punishment was not starting the first game in the series coming up, that I would start the 2nd game. Way to show me coach. One of my boys that came to help because there were 4 of them and one of me was kicked off the team. Don't be confused about the numbers 1 teammate and 2 basketball players heard about it and came running out to assist.

would habe been outraged if Sammy Watkins had been allowed to play vs Auburn in 2012. We beat them anyway without Sammy. I would love to have them sacrifice their integrity and still lose. They are traditionally the dirtiest program in the NCAA.
