Yep, definitely a very promising start with first two Braves getting on, and no outs. A bit hungover from the weekend (the Braves that is, not me).
Last update on Strider (from 4 or 5 days ago) was that “… he should miss the first couple series (at that time, a wild card was a good likelihood); however, the fact that the injury was an oblique, it is an uncertainty on recovery time when suffered by a pitcher”.

Surprised the Marlins haven't already mentally packed it in!
It would be worth it to go all in to get that win, no? It means a 1st round by, correct? I'm sure the Mets are going to approach the games with the Nats like a playoff game hoping to get some help from Florida.

I'm a life-long Mets fan since my father took me to the Polo Grounds to see them in 1962. Your Braves have been a constant nightmare since the late 90s. The Braves organization should be a model for Major League Baseball. I felt certain the Mets would win one of the games in Atlanta. It was painful to watch. No way the Braves get swept in Miami and the Mets sweep the Nats in NYC. I'm not sure this current Mets offense can beat the Padres or the Phillies in a best of 3 series. Good luck to your Braves, unless of course, the Mets meet them again
