Brad Johnson, DE, Pendleton - is CU recruiting?

Just read Kornblut's article on his reruitment. Noticed CU was hardly even mentioned. (Coots, ND, Mich St, Mich, Miss St, WI) Is there a reason?

1 . Doesn't have the grades . 2 . Doesn't have interest in Clemson 3. We don't have his preferred major . 4 . Would rather play out of state . 5 . Disciplinarial/Behavioral issues . 6 . We've offered him at a different position, and he won't budge on playing the DE . 7 . He just simply isn't good enough to be offered by the coaching staff ...in their estimation .

We aren't recruiting him heavily.
We wanted one 6-1 to 6-3 guy who's ~240 to 250 pounds who can play some lb but mainly DE and took Logan Rudolph for that spot (coaches like him better than Brad Johnson).
Our second and likely final Defensive End spot will be from one of Zach Carter (fl leads), Malik Herring (#1 on our board but Georgia leads significantly), or Jordan Williams (not sure who leads but we got a good chance).
If Justin Foster decides to commit soon, he will get that last DE spot and we may or may not oversign. Foster isn't an oversign though.

I don't know the real answer, but the fact that korncoot hasn't mentioned Clemson is not something from which to draw accurate conclusions about where we stand with a young player, nor where the young man really might have interest in playing.

Johnson would be a tough guy to project where to play at Clemson. He's 6'2-6'3 and weighs around 220-230. Not big enough to play DE, maybe not athletic enough to play ILB. Classic tweener. We had one of those in Vic Beasley, but I'm sure if he's the athletic freak Vic was.
