He is going to be great there. He would have left Clemson a top 3 rb all time for us. He will be great at Fla. There is no doubt.

Not in my mind. He seems like a good kid who has as much talent as anyone I have ever seen. I have little doubt, unless he chooses he isn't into football. Other than that he is slam dunk. On the other hand, you are right there are some variables. There are no redflags though.

leaving Clemson as a TOP 3 RB of ALL-TIME. One thing Clemson has had through the years is great RBs.
Especially, the 80s'. I just think you are overrating him by a ton. Potential, yes...but unlikely to have been a top 3 RB.

I agree that he would have been very good here and will likely be good at Florida. I also think we try to compare players with the greats all to quickly. My top 3 RB's would be 1) ETN 2) Terry Allen 3) CJ. Just for curiosity sake, who's your top 3 and who would he have supplanted?

What has changed since he left? Everything I read and heard online when he left was that he only came to Clemson to be close to his Grandfather? His Grandfather passed away so he wanted to go back home.
Has there been some other information come out about his decision to leave or his attitude on the team before he left?

Are good people and anyone who chooses to go somewhere else are bad people. Makes you wonder how they do in real life. He may very well be lazy for all I know. But he may also be a great kid who had to reevaluate priorities after a close family member died and during COVID when I imagine a lot of our thoughts are on family.

If Bowman stayed, where would he fit in? With Shipley looking like the 2nd coming of McCaffrey and Mafah coming in looking like ETN but actually running people over in the trenches, i think i might would of transferred too. Most fans might appreciate whats coming in but those of us that follow recruiting are drooling over whats next for this Clemson offense, even without Trevor/ETN. Best is yet to come and this class shows it

He’s not a 5?? for Clemson. He bailed on a top program that would have showcased him if he had stayed and put in the work. From what I’ve seen from UF this year, he’s gonna get what he deserves.
