Not excuses but I feel these are the reasons. 1)I'm not sure why not many have said this but our o-line has not been good all season. At best they're mediocre and have allowed Boyd to be pressured far too much in all previous games we've played.
2)Because of point 1, Boyd gets rattled and cant shake it.
3) Defense is not as good as they've looked up to the FSU game.
4) FSU IS a legit National title contender, we are not yet.
5) When your starting rb takes until his senior season to get signifigant touches, that should tell you something.
6)Our offense is nowhere close to that of Oregon and has sputtered against inferior defenses so the writing was on the wall. ( The loss of Peake did not help)
7) fsu has by far more talent and easily is in the top 3 or 4 in the country as far as that goes.
This being said and because of the way we were exposed I have some concern about Maryland and GT but think we will win. I am concerned about usuc though and cannot except a 5th loss to them. fsu is head and shoulders the best team we will face in the regular season so we are good enough to win out. I just hope we can recover mentally because if not I am worried.

Depending on Shaw's injury, the yard buzzards could have 5 losses coming into their game with us.

be a very tough opponent. We will have to play flawlessly and they will have to make a mistake or two for us to win.
