Loved Sapp. He could sling it. I thought Greene was a very good QB. Morroco filled a gap very well.

So:
Chase Brice Brandon Streeter Randy Anderson Mike Gasque Patrick Sapp
Also: I'll honorably mention Charlie Whitehurst BEFORE he was heralded. That Texas Tech bowl game was the most ridiculous beating I have ever seen a QB take and still walk off the field.

vote.
I know a lot of times I have been in the liquid Holiday Spirit and I read, say, a cutigerbob® post and I give it a TU.
The next day I am trying to piece the previous night together and I see I did that & I reread the post and it is usually the dumbest thing I have ever read & I want to give it 200 TDs . . . . but I can't even take down my one TU.
It's terrible.
I would donate at a higher level if this could be added.
B-Meist® . . . . make it so !

I don't know if Dantzler would count as unheralded but

watching him play football was so much fun. He would drop back and take off running way too early and a defender would have him dead to rights in the backfield until he would break the tackle and end up gaining 15 yards. Imagine what Woody could do in the current spread/read option offenses.

Rich Rods read option like Pat White. He was very good in the RR offense at Clemson, but he would've been even better in the offense RR developed a few years later.

Morocco, right ?
Doing it from memory - anybody can Googler.
Yeah - Morocco had to step into some pretty big shoes left by his predecessors.
Gonna be like - if we EVER stop getting GENERATIONAL talent every other recruiting year at QB, the dude that has to step in behind Watson, Lawrence, Pharmaceutical & Ukelele are going to be in DEEP, DEEP water.
Maybe we should call it Morocco Water . . . ? ? ? ?

Couple of Willies come to mind...
Feb 5, 2020, 11:09 AM
|
|
Willie Jordan and Willie Solomon. Jordan played for Parker and Pell, was one of those guys who rode the transition, in my mind, of Clemson football from historic to modern-day. He played just about every position on the field, including placekicker. But he was a decent quarterback. ... Solomon, of course, led the greatest comeback in Clemson history, from 28-0 down to a victory at Virginia. Come to think of it, we have had an awful lot of Willies play quarterback: Korn, Simmons, others?
