Big10 called emergency meeting with the other 4 Power 5

commissioners. Sounds like they are leading the charge to stick a fork in it. You know the P12 will agree and I'm afraid the ACC will as well given the league make-up-I think Clemson will be outvoted. SEC B12 may cave because of everyone else. ACC is probably the firewall here on this and I'm not feeling good about it.

There’s a story on ESPN about it.

Sick of the big ten “leading the way” or whatever. John swofford just needs to tell them we are going to play. Get over it

I wish they'd wait a couple of weeks.
I'm afraid conferences that are lead by "virtue signalers" (Big 10 and Pac 12) are wanting to push things so they appear like they are the most concerned.
Pushing it back should be an option. It just seems too early to cancel.

Answer is, we’ve made our decision. Play or don’t, we don’t care what you do. Can make this year the power 3

My middle school is having football tryouts this week. The high school is practicing and preparing to play their first game. My cousin’s son has been playing on a basketball team all summer. Covid is not going away. Half of the people have already stated they are not going to take the vaccine. If they do not play the season, I believe that College football will be destroyed.

sports this fall. Any conversation or planning or scheduling or trying out is pretend.
How anyone could advocate for school sports at any level this fall is beyond me.

You may be correct but, I hope not. Cross Country is scheduled to compete Saturday. I believe they are our first school scheduled competition.

Other than Ohio State, everyone else runs slow, outdated offenses. College football can survive without them. No one wants to see final scores that look more like baseball scores.
