It’s not a normal season and will be a one off. Doesn’t matter which conference coulda, shoulda, woulda sent a team.
It’s not happening and that’s it. No ifs ands or buts
But keep speculating on how the committee will take into consideration each conference only played in conference and 2 power 5’s didn’t even play.

and it is unlikely the Big Ten was going to send anybody, Ohio State lost a lot of starters on both offense and defense.
if there are three Power 5 Conferences playing this year, there will be a playoff.

You also 100% guaranteed the SEC, ACC, and the Big12 would not play if the B1G or PAC bowed out, yet here we are and the possibility is still strong and growing.
So I’ll go out on a limb again with you and suggest there will indeed be a CFP and the B1G will likely decide not to even play in the spring.

don't forget about the aac with teams like Ucf. Memphis or cincy who have been begging for a chance to get into the college football playoffs now have a chance

happen??
how are you going to play conference only games, then all of a sudden allow it for a national championship?? I'd love if they did, but it'd be very hypocritical to allow cross conference out of state games that fit their agenda of a championship, but yet it wasn't cool for the regular season.
Unless they think like me and believe the virus will vanish on November 3rd

4 SEC teams get in the CFP. That’s how it usually works since we won’t get any credit for beating our two regular SEC teams each year.

All the games played this year are exhibition games. If any teams play, they'll play odd schedules all within their leagues. I'd guess that if most teams from 3 leagues play 8+ games we will have a bowl season. With maybe 4 teams from each league having nice records, I could see 6 pretty nice bowl games.
A good outcome from all this is that "The Granddaddy of them All" is going to die of Covid-19.

how about the aac they have been calling themselves the power 6 this could finally be the year a time like ucf, Memphis, or cincy could get into the cfp
