Clemson head coach Brad Brownell and his staff are hosting Bas Leyte, a 6-10 forward out of UNC Greensboro (he is from Bergen op Zoom, Netherlands). He scored a season-high 16 points against Chattanooga in late February and averaged 7.6 points per game and 4.3 rebounds per game. He hit 47-62 free throws on the season. Obviously would be a replacement for Ben Middlebrooks. I think with the COVID year he would have two years of eligibility remaining.

In your case yes it’s anti-football. You know #### good and well having too many on football scholarship has never been a problem here. Several times Coach Swinney, has clearly explained why it happened this year. You choose to ignore it like the bitter Swinney hater you are.

I agree it would be a definite issue if Dabo was offering and signing 3/4 extra players a year and coming over the scholarship limits. But I also agree this year was an unforeseen anomaly. I have been an advocate for Dabo from day one (even when the faithful was land blasting Clemson for hiring him. He is a proven winner and he has proven consistency in an inconsistent world. His culture has proven to be a winner and contrary to popular beliefs he has said he will use the portal whenever the depth issues prove to need it. He is not going to cut his current WRs and look for better in the Portal! For those who believe this should happen I would say pick another team with another coach. Man will never do that! But if he has 3 WR graduate and another 3 leave in the portal then he will go to the portal to fill the roster. Dabo has proven this too with offers to OLineman and QBs. Judge I know you push buttons for response and I know you seem pretty educated so I am going to assume you know well what I am saying and why! I agree with Dabo and Trust Dabo to handle this Football team! The wins speak for this trust! Go Tigers!

Would be a huge get! Our C need is a tough one. There's not a whole lot of players in the portal that are looking to be a back up for a season.
If we could get him and Girard, we would have a very solid roster going into next year.
