Big Ten. Something to think about.

If we move to the Big Ten, we would have to play a 9 game conference schedule. Add South Carolina and that's ten automatic scheduled games every year. We would no longer be able to play that power five non confrence game anymore...no more Georgia, no more Auburn. Yes there are two games left but seriously, you know they are going to save those for the home games with non power five programs like Furman and Georgia southern.

by default, a Power Five game. If we joined the SEC, that same scenario is also in play. Next question?

I simply said it's something to think about. Yes if we were in the SEC that wouldn't be an issue even if they went to a nine game schedule, because South Carolina would count as a confrence game. But it doesn't look like that's in the cards. Personally I still would love to join the But Ten if we couldn't join the SEC. Playing Michigan sounds like fun.

Home games against two patsies.

Remember their purpose. Those two home games serve a great purpose. They pay for the non-revenue sports. The profit made off "buying two home wins" by picking teams where you pay them as little as possible pays for swimming, lacrosse, tennis, golf, etc.
They serve a very important purpose in any collegiate athletic budget.

Yes, the conference pays for their travel expenses but their money is made from tv. The home conference is team does not pay the opposing team except they offer a certain number of free tickets for band and staff.

Then drop the series with jr. and schedule a worthy team like UGa, Auburn, TAMU, UNC, VT, etc. We've proven our point with jr. for over 100 years. Move on.

Not compatible in any way for Clemson - would be a devistating move for our program to even consider - And would be even worse for each one of our other men's and women's sport teams as well!!!!

A 12 team playoff and a first round bye for the conference winner makes this a moot point.
