Big Ten is a joke

No way they get in 8 games with the rules they have in place and the timing.... They don’t belong in the CFP..
If they do get in - other teams should be permitted to discount games to match Big Ten total...
Say for example Alabama is 8-2 .. They can toss out the two losses and be undefeated...
Sounds like a stupid idea right? It is... But it’s no less stupid than giving the Big Ten a seat at the table with whatever abbreviated schedule they manage...

Not starting an argument, but are you counting The Citadel as a weighted game for committee criteria? Just saying.....
I have no idea how many games the big ten will play, but I know they’ll have no OOC, and no Citadel type games. And what about the fact that they’ll have multiple ranked matchups? Does that not weigh into the decision?
Example: what if Clemson plays 11, but never gets a ranked matchup, but OSU or PSU plays 9, but with 3 ranked games, and they dominate those games?

let an inept commissioner make a bonehead decision to not even play and the ACC, SEC, and Big XII made them look foolish. Now they decide they want to start nearly 2 months after those conferences and they want special consideration for any playoff. Screw that.

Nah, the Citadel game is just the game the SEC was too scared to play, No one says the SEC shouldn't get in with 10 when we play 11.
The B1G probably won't even get to 8 games, which is the point.

I know this is a crazy thought by me but, what if we pretend that playing and beating 2 unranked teams is tougher than not having to play 2 extra teams.
Sign me up for Clemson to play ND, Miami and VA Tech in the next 3 games to make sure we get some ranked opponents and then drop the Citadel (even though they could beat Rutgers), FSU and Pitt from the schedule. We just made Clemson's schedule a lot easier by dropping 3 games that could result in injuries or a loss leading up to the end.
Terrible argument to pretend playing 8 games is as tough as playing 11 no matter the rankings.

Citadel counts?

Absolutely.... Why ? Because in the COVID world we’re living in it isn’t about just playing ranked teams ...
Every game carries a risk of a significant playmaker catching COVID...
And then maybe you play the next opponent without said playmaker and lose because of it...
Big Ten immediately reduced their odds of such an occurrence by playing their abbreviated schedule...
They can play amongst themselves and hand out participation trophies...
Back to my original premise- 8-2 Bama loses two because their QB misses two games... Probably because he caught it from LSU - because listening to Orgeron makes me think they had COVID parties and now they won’t have to test for 90 days...
