BIG needs to take 8 ACC schools.

The main problem going to the BIG is travel for the non football sports. If they take 8 ACC schools they can play the majority of their games against each other. They would still play other schools in the BIG just not as many games against these teams. This would greatly help to reduce travel time and expenses.

I disagree. I could see Clemson, FSU, UNC, Miami, VaTech, Louisville, Virginia and Pittsburgh all making the jump. Not saying this will happen but these are 8 schools that may make sense.

Agreed that's why they take 4. UNC, Virginia, Louisville, and Ga tech. Big 12 takes Nancy State and Va tech and SEC takes Clemson and FSU. There problem solved

Agree, with your thought process. just not sure which 8. Maybe us, FSU, GT, UNC, NC ST(maybe), UVA, VT(maybe) possibly Pitt, Miami and Duke.

Maryland, Penn State, and Rutgers (unfortunately) are a solid start of an eastern division centered in the mid-Atlantic region.
