This tune still makes me tear -- makes me think as to my boy. Here are some lovely ones doing it. Reba has the best ever voice in Country or most genre. Only a few have her talent.

If given the choice between listening to her and having my eye teeth sharpened with a bench grinder, I'd probably choose the bench grinder.

Reba has a voice range beyond all but a few. She was born with talent and has developed it. One cannot just train and become a Reba. Great talent on that stage in my post above, but they cannot do this:

out in cowboy boots and a big hat... I'm done. I used to do that too, but I was 6 years old and dressed up for Halloween. I also had a holster and 6-shooter pop guns. Yee haw.

Doesn’t matter. Everyone can have their own opinions. I personally don’t like most of the new “country “ singers. Luke Bryan is awful but I like Chris Stapleton

My opinion is I can barely listen to country music for 30 minutes. I love both Reba and Dolly but don’t think either are great singers. Same for the men. They all sound alike to me except for Chris Stapleton who is a great singer. Carrie and Martina are also vocally talented. I’m a big fan of Kacey Musgraves because she has a different sound from everyone else in country. The less hicky the more I like it.

I agree with you if they are only wearing it for the look. But if somebody is an actual cowboy and lives that lifestyle then it’s cool. But you gotta be the real deal. We’ve took the kids to a few rodeo’s and ran into a people we knew who were the farthest thing from cowboys but were decked out in cowboy gear from head to toe. They looked like complete idiots.

That is like any Bike week that you go to, somebody there will have a string of Harleys to rent and we could always point out the guys that were riding a rent a Bike Harleys and pretending to be real Bikers. None of them ever know the safety hand signals that a real Biker will use all the time, and they were always the ones choking the bike down starting from red lights or stop signs usually bc they didn't down shift and had no idea what gear they were in, and when they weren't choking the bike down, they would rev the heck out the engine and burn the clutches down taking off in 3d,4th or 5th gear and burn the clutch to the point they would smell like rotten eggs...

A real Biker is somebody that rides enough that riding and knowing the rules and the hand signs/signal, and everything they do is just really smooth bc it's all done just from muscle memory with no effort. Picking out wannabe bikers is so easy!!!

Minn/ St Paul area. If he ever sat on a horse in his life it cost 50 cents in front of Walmart. But as soon as he moved to Austin he was a by-god cowboy. He was showing up at company meetings is full garb. Hat, boots, belt. Naturally my big fat mouth couldn't resist. Yet another reason I struggled in the corporate world.
