To play at 330-340lbs with power and speed with his size is huge for this #1 DL this year. As they all deserve accolades, Big Dex plays a major role in the power of the front 4.

If his foot was well this past season he would have gotten National awards for Best DL. He played great despite his injury to his foot. How many guys with his ability would play hurt? He’s a rare breed and we will miss him next season.
I can’t wait to see the real Dex this year and the real huggy bear too!!
It’s crazy how wrong the espin analysts are on our defense. They believe they will be good but not Bama great this year. This is going to be the best DL ever in college football and we have had great lines before.
I would love to see us shut out a few teams completely, of course I know Dabo will get guys experience behind them so next year we have experience on the DL.

You add in guys stacked behind our DL like Lamar , Skalski , Smith , Smith ... maybe we see a little Jones Jr. back there... the potential for stoning opponent's offenses looks not just possible , but likely .

Our DL will remain fresh too with all of the quality depth we have. I don't see us getting gassed like we did at times last year. We will be able to get some more speed on the edge at times too with XT, which we kind of lacked at times in certain situations. I think it will be the best DL in college football if everyone is healthy.
