2/24 Recap 📝Daddy Duty Report: Shadow attended the nest for: 5hr 54min, 2 visits. ONE mammal was delivered for Jackie!

Jackie did not immediately eat the mammal. She ate it at two different times. Last time was 5:30, and did not eat all of it. It was very furry and a bout the size of a small rabbit but was not a rabbit.

Pip watch begins March 1. That is when the first egg laid COULD start to hatch, but probably will be days later. The eggs should all hatch within 3-6 days from the first one.

I have been recuperating from a tough flu bug that wants to linger. Plus wife is in a rehab facility for past 3 weeks and may be there 3 more weeks. So, I have not kept up with nest.

Sorry to hear about you and your wife. Our prayers are sent for you both. I also want to thank you for posting on the Big Bear Eagles. My wife follows two in Florida and both of the eaglets died from bird flu. I gave her your information on Big Bear and she now follows them each day. Thanks! Go Tigers!

I’m sorry that y’all have had health problems lately. I hope you both get well soon.
