The other 2 have grown. The parent eagles are doing a good job.

I watched the mother feeding them once. She was feeding the same one over and over. Then she fed herself. I'm not surprised the smallest eaglet didn't make it.

It was actually the first born eaglet that didn't survive. The smallest/youngest one is thriving

The one that died accidentally froze to death during the huge snow storm. It did not get covered completely by Jackie one night.

I was just watching them. It's been a journey for the chicks. It's amazing to watch the parenting skill on display. Nature is a wonderful thing.
