Best and loudest game at Death Valley

Nov 12, 2012, 1:14 PM

There has been a lot of different opinions recently on which game was the best or the loudest in Clemson history... My suggestion is that we take care of business against NC State this weekend with a great atmosphere and then really bring it vs Scar to end the discussion. I have been at some loud games (GT '06, FSU '09) but I want 2 weeks from now to set a new comparison for everybody! Let's make a great reputation even better and show the country where the real Death Valley is these next 2 weeks!

Georgia 1987, and we didn't need the clips of music between plays from the PA system, or the fireworks after each score to generate noise.

miami was very loud, imagine if charlie would have hit curry wideopen in the endzone.....I still think the game with fsu here at night when we DRILLED them and knocked out christian ponder for the season on the interception return was the loudest

or when Woody hit Gardner in the pushoff game....that was the loudest moment

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

That is the loudest I have ever heard it in DV

The FSU and GT night games were loud. But when Gardner caught the ball it was REAL loud. My favorite part of the game was when the fieldgoal attempt cleared the line of scrimmage and the fans on the hill went nuts and then a split second later the rest of the stadium knew that the kick was good.

News from USuC...
"Richardson was the 20th Gamecock arrested since Spurrier was hired in Nov. 2004"

Fluxus®
"As I watched the game yesterday I couldn't help but feel crushed. We beat Furman by 4 TDs, but to me it looked like we got whipped."

"George Bush, we are reliably informed by the media, has the IQ of a moron, though how he matriculated from Yale and Harvard or flew an F-106 will remain an unexplained mystery. Doubtless his father bribed the airplane to fly itself."

Loudest I haver ever heard DV and it's really not close. With that said, it wasn't ridiculously loud the entire game... But when we needed the ball back on that 4th Quarter drive, it was insane. If CW had hit Stuckey WIDE OPEN... I can't imagine what that would have been like.

Agreed, the safety and field goal to win it was insane. I ended up 20 rows from where I was sitting, hugging people I'd never met before! I couldn't hear myself screaming.

Yeah, go Tigers!

I especially want to beat the coots. I know not to overlook NCSU, but I live in Rock Hill, SC. That's where Jadaveon Clowney, Stephon Gilmore, and Devonte Holloman came from. Most of y'all know what it feels like to have a coot in the office next to your's. All I hear about these days is how great they are. Let's get our bragging rights back and have some good ol' fried chicken on November 24, and make crowd noise a huge factor. And show them where the REAL Death Valley is. Go Tigers!

coot in the office next to mine? nope but I know what it's like to have one that empties my trash and dusts my office.

I agree with what you are saying and I think the usuc game could take over this year as the loudest but to date for me I'd say FSU in '03.

would be that Miami game.

We used to stop games and even draw penalties with the noise.

Agreed. Ive only been going to games since '97, but that
