Bentley stats
Nov 7, 2016, 12:04 PM
|
|
Vs UMASS: BELOW AVERAGE UMASS allows on average 262 yds/game passing Bentley only managed 201.
Vs UTjr: BELOW AVERAGE UTjr allows on average 201 yds/game passing Bentley only managed 167.
Vs Mizz: SLIGHTLY ABOVE AVERAGE Mizz allows on average 238 yds/game passing Bentley only managed 254.
Florida allows 148 yds/game passing. I'd be shocked if bentley gets more than 150 yds.
Coots, please explain to me how Bentley is the savior if he is held below a teams average passing yards/game against these terrible defenses?

It's a coot thing, I guess. I've heard of guilt by association, but never success by association, until now with the coots.

achieve its most successful run in school history. Too bad you don't have any conference championships or BCS Bowl invites to show for it.
At least you did get some nifty fifth place rings and a little more time to worship a coach who quit on you mid year.

a team get put on NCAA probation. But we understand its important for chickenfans to perpetuate the myth that Clemson has always been on probation, when in actuality, usuck was investigated and put on probation first, last and more often than Clemson ever has been
When your rival has kicked your ### so many times over the decades (the vast majority of the games having been played in Columbia), everybody understands the grasping of straws for anything to laud over them.

They are giddy just to have an AVERAGE QB. When you compare him to everyone else on that roster he does, in fact, look like a Heisman candidate.

Stats are always fun to cherry pick. You can get any result you want if you try hard enough. Your one stat says he is less than mediocre but QB effiency rating 170 is in national top 5,he is completing 74% of his passes with 6 TDs and 0 INTs or fumbles. That's a way different picture. You would argue he is doing it against inferior talent and I would argue he is producing with no real offensive talent at receiver and a horrid oline. How good is he? Who the heck knows. Should CU be afraid of him. No. Should they overlook him? Probably not.

High completion percentage is great, but not impressive if passes barely go 10 yards before they're caught

All of those were home games too. They've had 6 in a row. They play Florida on the road because Florida doesn't play sh!tty teams outside of the state of Florida lol.
