I remember Hoop but not Chip. The only time we would throw it was on trick plays. 😂
Seriously when I did see Rodney drop back in that timed 3 step drop, and that wild arm motion start, is when the panic would set in.
It was ugly but he made it work.

to your point he had no fear of taking a hit. I don’t remember his size but just guessing I would put him at 6-2 and maybe 220? It felt like he was a good sized boy.
