Offenses and defenses that rely on player development and maturity are defunct

And that was what made clemson good. Now you need a different kind of position coach and coordinator. Unless we are fine winning every 4-5 years. But the transfer portal means kids won’t wait!!! It takes a special needle in the haystack player and coach. Colorado and FSU are good examples of those kind of coaches and players-

To be successful at anything that involves competition or progress, you must never be satisfied with your product. You MUST always be looking to improve it. There is always room for improvement. In business, You just have to have a culture that demands that the status quo is not acceptable. It makes your employees problem solvers and innovators, not ### kissers.

LSU was No. 3 in 2022, & No. 2 in 2023 with 29 transfers...

according to 247.

Most of Kelly's most prized transfers in 2023 appear to be on the D side of the ball, according to the experts.

4* Omar Speights LB
4* JK Johnson CB
4* Jordan Jefferson DL
4* Duce Chestnut CB
4* Paris Shand DL
4* Zy Alexander CB
5* Denver Harris CB

According to the experts, LSU overall talent is Ranked 7th, FSU 20th.

Kelly > Norvell in overall talent & the transfer sweepstakes, but if you watched their game, LSU quit and all that talent with it. They were embarrassed.

I'm not opposed to the portal, have never been and to my recollection my greatest concern I posted, even though Clemson wasn't losing front-liners, was the lack of maturity in practice, replacing 3rd year back-ups with freshman and the perceived hole that results in the pay it forward culture that Clemson enjoys. Practice is important and that experienced depth seems an important piece.

I have however taken the time to fully understand Clemson's culture, I enjoy it, which in no way means I'm happy, satisfied and/or not disappointed by the other night's results. It's farcical and lazy some go there.

I also understand I have less than 5% of the information as the other 95% remains in house. DHood has said as much and goes to valued resources he knows for their opinion or a former coach whose opinion he values as well. Good on him, that's an authoritative resource - that's called ethos with perhaps some logos involved because football can be football.

All I've asked is that people take the time to understand it's not all golden and there are glowing failures, which should always be part of the conversation if people are interested in integrity in conversation and debate. If not, carry on.

Now, it's time for some emotionally encumbered member to accuse me of trolling or worse yet, gaslighting, which is buffoonery, because I took the time to provide some information that will hopefully offer some pause as they roll it around.

If you're looking for a hug, I'm not your guy, guy, but I do enjoy talking, researching and theory crafting football.
