It was just announced that the Big10 changed COVID protocols from 17 days down to 3 hours making all players eligible.

The Big Ten has amended the Covid19 rules and regulations for all members of their conference. This directly covers Ohio St as the rules were changed with them in mind specifically. Under! he new rules, a Player/coach or member of said university who is covered by the Big Ten will now be eligible to protest any and all positive Covid19 tests from this point until the seasons official end. Players/coaches or staff members who do test positive can file a formal protest through the Big Ten office and a hearing date will be assigned to review the case with a Big Ten official as well as a highly respected member of the NCAA committee. Under the guidelines of this new Covid 19 agreement, said player/coach or University staff member will be. eligible to maintain eligibility for any all sanctioned NCAA events in which the Big Ten willing participates in. If a hearing that involves a positive Covid19 test for a Big Ten player can not be scheduled until the season has formally ended, then said Player/coach or staff members will be eligible for each event and will not need to participate in any mandatory covid-19 testing for the remainder of the scheduled season. This rule has been passed and has taken effect on this day, the 1st of January orf 2021
