He was on my son's coaches' pitch team. Pretty solid player, and what I remember most about him was he wore a chest protector. I thought at the time that was a pretty good idea. Excited to see him play.

or maybe the day before before, that wee were recruiting way too many LHP and needed to look more at RHP.

Into a quality pitcher but that's a high era and less than a strikeout per inning for a 95 mph fastball isn't that good. I suspect that he doesn't have a lot of movement on his fastball but a good pitching coach can fix that. Good hitters can hit a 95 pitch! Wonder what his other out pitch is?
