Baseball 101 and a plea.

Apr 29, 2017, 11:01 PM

Our baseball team is doing very well for the most part and I am very happy with the job coach Lee and staff are doing. However, there are a couple concerning things that have come to light lately and hopefully they are fixed in the near future. If not, a trip to Omaha will be a long shot. First, when leading off an inning with a double the goal is obviously to get that runner home. Of course that does not always go according to plan. But to not move the runner up at least 90 feet with 2 outs to play with to try and give yourselves a chance is just bad baseball. Our guy still standing at second base when the inning ended was a discouraging sight to say the least. Secondly, and this is a short and simple plea. Can someone, yes anyone in our bullpen please, please come into a game and do your job? To beat good competition at least a couple true gamers coming out of the pen is a must.

Go to Clemson .com/Employment.
Sounds like you might be a perfect candidate for Monte's job considering you think anything
less than a trip to Omaha in his second full year is just not acceptable.
Say,Clemson might be in the market for a new Basketball coach next season.
Maybe you could do double duty.
I just love armchair quarterbacks,or maybe it's an armchair pitchers who think they know more than the coaches.

P.S.Can you recruit as well?

Hey clown, I got a better idea. Why don't you go to school.com since it is apparent you can not read.

I agree 2-3 times this weekend we had a runner on second with 0 outs.
In close games vs good teams where runs are at a premium, you have got to bunt him over.
Unless Beer or Williams are batting and even then it's not out the Question.
