So it appears that with the guys leaving (seniors and those leaving early) we have 71 guys on scholarship. We have 15 signees so that means 86 on scholarship. Spiers is on a 1-year scholarship; I assume the intent was to give it to him again but let’s assume not. That leaves us with 85. (Source: TNet scholarship counts)..
I suspect that one or more with transfer the question is will we know that prior to NSD? It is also possible the either Jake or CBV elect to give up his scholarship (I don’t think that happens though). My guess is that we will be able to give about 2 more scholarships.

There are going to be transfers and frankly we need some of them. 2019 was already going to be a huge class even if the dline had gone. Having some more scholarships available for 2018 is important for building sustained team depth by balancing out the classes.

Actually, there are 2 walkon scholarships that are not marked on the breakdown chart (Ty Thompson and Kyle Cote), so we should be at 84 committed scholarships for 2018 right now.
That gives us 1 available for a new signee, and I assume Dabo probably knows if anyone is likely to transfer, so we may be able to take 1 or 2 more at signing day.

The recruiting board predictions I've seen are:
OL: Gouraige
LB: Dax Hollifield
WR: Ross
DB: Matthew Hill, maybe Leon O'Neal, and a corner.
