Well, if you take the weather out of the decision, that only
Jan 17, 2019, 1:59 PM
|

leaves...
The time of day (ALWAYS a Bloody Mary before noon, no matter the occasion or weather) and occasion (raise at work, GF left you, dog died, anniversary, business meeting, etc.), AND the type of bar (sports bar, swanky restaurant, TGIF, Outback, Ruths Chris, etc.).
So I wood need the restaurant (or type of restaurant), time of day, and the occasion to provide an accurate answer.
I have a dozen or so go-to drinks depending on the above factors.

Are we eating or just drinking?

Just drankin, bourbon on the rocks.
If its like a beautiful early summer day in Baltimore, then eating outside means getting into the blue crabs, and that means an ice cold Natty Boh is in order.

I'd say I'd go rum drink
Jan 17, 2019, 2:41 PM
|
|
I suppose because I was raised close to the beach that I tend towards rum. I's what I was weaned on alcohol-wise.
Rum & Coke, Rum and ginger, even rum and pineapple juice, something like that. I even like rum straight; I drink straight rum on ice all the time. (does ANYBODY besides me do that?)
If's it's beer, PBR me ASAP. Colder the better. Keep fruit the eff away from my beer.

I would fire up a big spliff in the car, then just sit out side and order tonic waters. If someone had mushrooms, and the weather is perfect as you say, I may be tempted to get into that as well
