But the Trump effect has been good for tobacco and liquor. I thought adult diapers would be the hot ticket with a pants-shytter in the oval office, but P&G has disappointed.

lottery ticket sales are gonna spike here pretty soon as well, along with crime rates, and health care costs. The medicare cuts will cost the average family about $1200 a year. 8 million people will no longer be able to pay their doctor bills, along with rural hospital closures.. Guess who picks up the tab either way, albeit access to preventive care costs us less in the long run?

I honestly haven't looked even remotely close at the "Big Beautiful Bill," however I'm much less worried about crime under Trump than the Dems.

The cuts as I understand it are to Medicaid and not Medicare and there are multiple GOP Senators who have a problem with the Medicaid cuts the House approved.

I'm all for closing a lot of rural hospitals, but at the same time increasing clinics in rural areas, but someone is going to have to figure out incentives to get physicians and nurses to staff these rural clinics.

Many rural hospitals are akin to some of the post offices one sees in out of the way places. Some of them need to go away, but at the same time increasing access to preventive and primary care.

The Senate will change up some things, so much so that the House Pubs may not sign off and no bill gets through to Trump's desk.

I suspect a bill will ultimately get to Trump, but it will be different from what has passed the House.

One thing is for sure. Without the extension of the Trump tax cuts, many Americans will face a steeper tax bill and not just the rich.
