That is exactly why I always will put not so used paper towels in my spit bottle. My wife drinks enough Ginger ale, and I do the same with diet Pepsi that once I use up a bottle I'll put the cap back on it and throw it away, and put paper towels in the next one. Note, as long as you slightly pack the paper towels in the bottle so that they will keep soaking the spit up, drop it, knock it off or whatever, the spit will stay long enough to give you a chance to grab it and set it upright without a gross mess anywhere, been doing it that way for years, and as long as I don't fall asleep and drop it, there is never a mess to clean up!!!

Happened at our poker game years ago (I was neither the spitter or the sipper). The recipient was not too happy but the group survived and has been playing for 15+ years now.

I can honestly say that I never have but, if someone was to spit of use what I was drinking as an ash trey, I promise if I knew who did it, they would never make that mistake again!!!

I wanted to comment of this a while ago but I couldn't get over the thought of it. Never done that before, thankfully. I do know how it is to swallow Copenhagen juice for a couple hours straight. I never was someone that dipped. However, one day in HS I put some in before an assembly. I had a seat open next to me and my English teacher sat down beside me. Probably two hours I sat there and got so nauseated that I don't think I ever tried to do that at school again. And no guys I don't have a picture of my English teacher, pervs.
