Yea, we got beat by the coots, it sucks and it sometimes happens. Our coaches and players made mistakes that cost us an easy win.
But we now have a chance to play a top 10 team in what will be a home field advantage basically. We can take home Another Clemson Championship (ACC) trophy with a playoff berth.
I know I got my hotel booked and my tickets for Charlotte. And I’m gonna cheer on the Tigers. I fully expect a Tiger victory.

I'm going!
As I've said in a few posts, I only get to see my Tigers when they roll into Charlotte. I was watching tixs as soon as clock hit 0:00 for Miami/CUSE.
Win or lose I get to see my alma mater play live next Saturday!

The way I look at it, we didn't really back door it. We had our own fate in our hands and blew it against Louisville. Miami had control of their destiny and blew it against Syracuse. We only lost 1 game in conference, and they lost 2, so we actually did earn our way in. SMU was 8-0 and we were 7-1. No one else was as good as that so how could you really argue we didn't deserve it when we actually did finish in the Top 2 with no ties?

I live 30 minutes away but will not be going…I’m not superstitious (only a little-stittious), but EVERY post-season championship, bowl game, etc. that I have ever attended, Clemson has lost. So…I will be a ‘true Clemson fan’ and spare you all the loss by not attending the game…you’re welcome.

Yes! Taking my son to the game. It’s the best game of the year being in uptown Charlotte with a view of the city lit up at night and my college team playing on my NFL teams field. Meeting a new fan base in SMU. Wouldn’t miss it! And I am completely opposed to this “back door” word smithing … EVERY year NFL teams get in the playoffs with crazy scenarios that the analysts love to play out. Doesn’t mean they are not deserving. And that’s the highest level of this game. So no, I don’t accept anyone saying “back door”. That is for those who are not eligible to compete in their conference championship. GO TIGERS!
