How do you handle tailgaters?

What do you do when someone is riding your ### and you're 1. Already going over the speed limit or you can't go any faster due to traffic backed up 2. You're not on the Interstate driving in the passing lane? I'm talking driving around town and driving properly.

Do you:
A. Speed up (not an option if you're stuck in slow traffic, obviously)
B. Gradually slow down more to #### em off
C. Brake check and indicate with a hand gesture to back off
D. Just keep on keepin' on and not worry about it.
E. Stop car at next light, get out, and challenge to a duel
F. Toss items backward at them
G. Lean out window and tell em to go back to Ohio
H. Insert custom option: _____________

I'm afraid I do Option C more than I probably should. My wife doesn't like it.

if you hold your phone up like you're recording them they act like you're pointing an RPG at them. I only recently discovered this, but it's held true so far.

I've had a couple younger people take offense to me 'nascaring' them while they were poking in the left lane and speed up to 90+ mph to ride my bumper. In one case I noticed the girl was holding her phone up making all sorts of hand gestures at me. She was able to get around me eventually and right back in front, brake checking, etc. I figured what the hell I'll just copy what she was doing and see what happens, sure enough as soon as she saw the phone she immediately got over, 2 hands on the wheel, and didn't even glance over as I passed. I'm pretty sure I could have pointed a gun at her and it would't have phased her, but the threat of being recorded sure did. It was like a light switch went off.

Used to brake check a whole lot more than I do now, but I save that only
