Auburn and Duke consensus question

The ESPN/Media narrative is that Auburn and Duke are 1 and 2 then everyone else is a good bit behind.

With that belief, wouldn’t Clemson be considered in that category since we beat Duke when the were full strength and are only 1 game behind in the standings?

er no. We are not in the esecpn conference nor do we have a consensus 'Heisman' playing for us. That's all the media is looking for in a 'team'.
