I ask you what is the state of Clemson Mens BB? 12 years and some of you feel Brad just needs more time

I hate to tell you but all signs point to Brad coming back. Did you read Mr Hood's story Friday? There is supposed to be an announcement early this week. Of course maybe Brad will take another job...

Mike White just did. Can you think of any program that would be interested in Brownell and that he'd have interest in?

I think it's really going to have to be step down. On the jobs that opened up. Maybe one of the top mid major conference jobs like UMass, Rhode Island, East Carolina. Could be some other jobs open up soon.

It is not a question of time, it is a question of expectation. There has not been an expectation of being a serious basketball contender since Purnell. Clemson is satisfied with having a team that is clean, wins 50-60% of the games and on occasion makes the NCAA tournament. Baseball has similar expectations and as long as football pays the bills everyone is happy.

I agree. 60% percent is actually pretty good. Brad is sitting at around 53 percent. That is not...

So, best is not the standard? Our athletic department doesn't strive for excellence in every sport? I go to every home basketball game and pull for the Tigers. If the athletic department doesn't care, then why should I?

What is the state of Clemson's Men's BB you ask; Well it is in the state of South Carolina. It is in a state of needing an overhaul, it is a state of mind over matter, it has nothing to do with The State of the Union, but it is in pretty bad shape. So I will state my case. It is time for Brad Brownell to find another state to live in, unless of course the State University wants him.
