Baby Trotter is an interesting case.
The good is that, as a rFr, he led WV in tackles by a wide margin. The raw tackle numbers were also very good.
The bad, if you can call it that, is that at least one from among Rivals or 247Sports, rated Baby Trotter as only a 3* Portal player. Does this ~ average rating account for speed?
My guess is that Baby Trotter is not as fast as stud Jeremiah Trotter Jr.
Clemson really puts a lot of emphasis on acquiring very fast LBs.
Again, this is just my guess.

Legacy recruiting works if they are very talented!
Trevor ETN messed up by not coming to Clemson in my opinion.
We would have used him more like his brother was used.

I get it. I wouldn't want to play for a school where you're always going to live in your brother's shadow. You want to try to make your own name. He's done well for where he is, and I think we would have ultimately been disappointed in him because he's good, but not as good as his brother.

Not sideline to sideline at least. Just smart and ran the defense and was almost never out of position.
Don’t know about his little brother but must be a reason he didn’t come to Clemson and it may still exist on his side and ours.🤷🏽♂️
