It provides some perspective for Clemson fans ..

It could be WAY WAY worse

^ This. Add Nebraska, VaTech, Texas, USC, etc.

Everyone needs to calm down.

We are freaking out because we are not being folks by 30+ in the first half right now.

We have a great D, I think I can see the offense starting to get something. Sure, it is a mess now, but I am not that worried. You just have to take it a play at a time. We are still a top 10 team, and my golly, there were times I would give ANYTHING to have ANY win over GaTech.

So very true... As much as we are not happy with our offense

I think we will eventually right the ship (hopefully sooner rather than later).

I've never been sold on Manny Diaz as a head coach. He threw the dice gambling heavily on the transfer portal to pull his keister off the hotseat and it bought him a little grace time last year. But D'Eriq King has not looked liked pre-ACL D'Eriq King and the general undisciplined play that is a signature of Miami is killing them.

I've said for many years - Miami's biggest problem is they can't let go of the thug past that will never return in lieu of embracing a new future. The first thing Diaz should do this morning is throw the turnover chain, touchdown knuckles and all that silly swag stuff in the garbage and start building a program culture that doesn't need such gimmicks to make them feel like they are the Jimmy Johnson Canes of yesteryear.

I agree with everything you said.

In some ways, I think that both Miami AND FSU are shackled to their past. Someone needs to come into those programs with a fresh perspective and rebuild them from the ground up. The days of just showing up, rolling your helmet out onto the field, and scaring your opponent to death are over. Respect is earned by how you play, not by how you strut around or look after you play, or by what uniform you wear....

Yes! The Jimmy Johnson Miami teams were both great and fun--

why would they want to be like that again?

Great take by you.

I'm as frustrated with the offense as anyone, but...

one thing is clear, Clemson fans have become spoiled over the last ten years. It could definitely be A LOT worse.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.
