I hope so. Our guys going into that game with that extra motivation could be what what gets them to play at full potential. A blowout down there is not out of the question and I'd love to see it

Doubt it. I would guess we'll open as 3 point favorites

What's more motivating?

To be disrespected as the #3 team in the country and installed as an underdog, or to be put on "upset alert"? One of the two will clearly happen. I think I would almost prefer the former. We are on upset alert every week.

To be on upset alert for a night game at FSU is not disrespectful to us. They are a talented team, and although they haven't lived up to expectations this year, they will give us everything they have. It will not be an easy game to win. They have way more talent than NCSU, and are playing at home, so we'd better limit the turnovers and come ready to play.

My guess is it will be a push line. Maybe Fsu -1 since our last game has been trumpeted as the downfall of Clemson football.

I would bet on us but I'm biased. It is hard to factor in the risk of us shooting ourselves in the foot. 2 years ago in Talhassee was very similar to the NCState game where you would swear we actually trying to lose the game. If you remember that FSU game was when everyone complained about being in shotgun formation in short yardage. I think the NC State game was a reality check on ball security and we will be triumphant.

Line will open with FSU by 3 but will change to Clemson by 1 at kickoff. We will be on upset alert, but most likely will be favored.
