SC will be THE last state to decriminalize, the very last.

For South Carolina, it really depends on when money starts flowing across state lines because bordering states are legalized. As much as our vaunted politicians would love for you to believe it's their mandate to aid Jesus in the war on drugs...it's really all about the money.

I do agree that NC or GA legalizing will put pressure on our state, but there’s a loooooooot of gray hairs in this state that have to die before we get a ballot measure or legislative action.

You can buy cartridges now at the vape store in SC that is just as good as the carts from dispensaries. They have found loopholes in the laws and they have made different chemicals like THC-o THC-X Delta 11 etc etc.

Absolutely those states will go before SC. It’s already decriminalized in MS in fact.

driving up the pedestrian walkway on the Ravenel bridge.
For srs, I don't mind marijuana being legalized and listing it as Schedule 1 is indefensible. But I hate smelling it everywhere in some major cities that have legalized it. Lets find a happy medium there.
I also chuckle at people who swear that there are no negative side effects whatsoever, that marijuana is a miracle cure for anything and everything, and that legalizing it will fill our tax coffers and lead to schools paved with gold. By total, complete coincidence, these people are, without exception, heavy users of marijuana.

I know because I was 25 before I quit and it took over a year to rid my brain of the ####### so I didn't figure out what I'd missed in life until I was almost 30 and didn't line up my ducks to get a college degree until a few more years later.
All in all, heavy pot smoking cost me about a decade. The only thing I produced at the time was flock of kids.

Need the R&D to come up with a test to see if you're under the influence

immediately, like alcohol BAC is, IMO, for it to ever become federally legal.
Right now testing if you've had THC in the past 30 days isn't that helpful.
