0-4 against the SEC...IF and it's a Big IF but if Clemson does end up in the SEC one day then look what we got to look forward too and not just in Softball either,it's freaking brutal. All the Tiger sports teams, men and women will have to recruit far far far better than they ever have to keep up with teams in that conference, even Vanderbilt Yes I said Vanderbilt

I've been a Tiger for 6 plus decades and I've felt that since ESECPN became heavily a part of the SEC that by our Tigers not being in the SEC it has hurt our recruiting more than anything as far as college FB recruiting is concerned. Clemson in the SEC I believe we could recruit as well as any team in the SEC especially since Nick Saban has retired...

This has nothing to do with SEC teams. This team isn’t good. It’s that simple. A couple seasons ago we would have gone 3-1 against these teams.

Exactly. This team right now will lose to UCF tomorrow if UCF has a pulse - Big 12, B1G- SEC whatever you throw at them it's just not good.

That’s why I maintain my opinion that Clemson should not be in any hurry to leave the ACC. We might beat the Coots in football and maybe softball, but that’s about it in the major sports, and they are considered mid-tier in SEC, Women’s BB as the exception.

Better get use to this. It’s going to be a long year for this team not sure they will even have a winning record when it’s all said and done. I did not expect a program in it’s sixth year to be so much worse than the teams it fielded in year one & two, but that’s were we are at.

All thanks to Rittman. He had so much to be able to recruit from thanks to Cagle and the early success we had in the program. Recruiting and development are sorely lacking now. The errors and lack of hitting are beyond frustrating. He’s either extremely lazy or extremely incompetent.

We all saw what we were in for this season with those errors and lack of hitting last season from the players that were coming back this season. It's just amazing the coaching staff knowing what they were gonna lose in Valerie Cagle,Millie Thompson,Arielle Oda,Alia Logoleo and McKenzie Clark and not being prepared for it now instead of all these Freshmen and Sophomores coming in and having to play this season. You just don't go from 4 years with the teams Clemson had to basically starting over and rebuilding in season 6 of the program, that's poor recruiting and poor evaluation of the prospects, plain and simple.

As a small push back, top talent isnt sitting behind those players for two yrs

In the softball world, top talent is still hard to come by. We have to expect a rebuild when the core is gone.
I wanted more in the 6th year, but it was built on expectations Rittman created. I’ll have some patience.

This team is young and has lots of time to grow and get better.
Rittman has done a great job coming out on fire 🔥 with our softball program, nobody’s going to be great every season right out of the gates for 6 straight years but we might have another Valerie on the team now that just needs to grow like Val did.
Let’s give him time to work on getting better, playing tough teams early always helps humble you to work to get better.
We could have easily won a couple of those games we lost.
I believe this team will improve as the season progresses.
Don’t ever count the Tigers out!
